JCKBSE, Joint Conference on Knowledge-Based Software Engineering

	JCKBSE aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest development in the areas of knowledge engineering and software engineering. Particular emphasis is placed upon applying knowledge-based methods to software engineering problems.



OTS'2002, Object Technology in Slovenia

	More than 200 slovenian professionals attended the conference organized by OTC (Object Technology Center). Authors of 27 papers addressed topics related to object technology and component development including WEB services, EAI, application and business process integration based on XML, expected UML extensions, agile methods, process model frameworks. OTS'2001, Object Technology in Slovenia

	The key issue was how to improve and encourage reuse not only of components but also of experience. 32 presentations addressed following topics: software patterns, web services and standards, XML, SOAP, UDDI, J2EE, .NET. OTS'2000, Object Technology in Slovenia

	The emphasis of 23 papers was on the new generation of component models, information solutions related to telecommunication services, Web applications and XML, XML in databases, object modelling with UML, quality of the OO and component development process and automation of the project size estimation. Invited speakers: Tom Bridge IBM Canada, ter Bernhard Thalheim, Brandenburg University.
